FAQ — Uvora Flow
Botanical Science Formula

Questions,
answered plainly

Everything people ask us before their first bottle of Uvora Flow — and a few things we think you should know either way.

01

Using It

How many capsules should I take, and when?

The label recommends two capsules daily, ideally with a meal. Taking it alongside food helps your body absorb the silymarin (the active compound in milk thistle) more consistently, and it's easier to remember as part of a routine you already have.

One bottle holds 90 capsules — about a 45-day supply at that dose.

How long before I notice anything?

Milk thistle is a slow, cumulative botanical, not a fast-acting stimulant. Most people take it daily for 4 to 8 weeks before forming an opinion. We'd encourage you to think of it as a daily habit you're building, not a single dose you're waiting to "feel."

Can I take it on an empty stomach?

You can, but we don't recommend it. Milk thistle extract is fat-soluble, meaning it's absorbed better when there's some food, especially food with a bit of fat, already in your system. Taking it with breakfast or dinner is the simplest way to get consistent absorption.

What if I miss a day?

Just pick back up at your normal dose the next day. Don't double up to "catch up" — there's no benefit to it, and it just burns through your bottle faster.

02

The Formula

What exactly is in each capsule?

Each capsule contains a standardized milk thistle seed extract, dosed for its silymarin content, in a plant-based capsule shell. That's the whole ingredient list — no fillers, flow agents, or artificial colors added to bulk it out.

Where does the milk thistle come from?

We source single-origin milk thistle seed and test it for potency batch by batch, rather than blending stock from multiple unverified suppliers. If a batch doesn't meet our internal standard, it doesn't go into a bottle.

Is it vegan and gluten-free?

Yes to both. The capsule shell is plant-based (no gelatin), and the formula itself doesn't contain wheat, barley, rye, or any gluten-derived ingredient.

Why milk thistle specifically?

Milk thistle's seeds contain silymarin, a group of plant compounds that have been studied for their role in supporting normal liver function. It's one of the more researched botanicals in that category, which is part of why we built our first formula around it rather than a newer, less-studied ingredient.

03

Safety

Are there any side effects?

Milk thistle is generally well tolerated. A small number of people report mild digestive effects, like bloating or a looser stool, especially in the first week as their body adjusts. These effects are usually temporary and settle down with continued use.

If anything feels off beyond that, stop taking it and check in with a doctor.

Can I take this with my other medications?

Milk thistle can interact with certain medications, including some that are processed by the liver. We're not able to give personal medical advice here, so if you take prescription medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an existing liver condition, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before starting.

Is this third-party tested?

Yes. Every batch is sent to an independent lab for purity and potency testing before it's approved for sale, rather than relying on testing done in-house or by the raw material supplier alone.

Is this a substitute for medical treatment?

No. Uvora Flow is a dietary supplement, not a medication, and it isn't intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It's meant to support a daily wellness routine alongside, not instead of, care from a healthcare provider.

04

Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Orders are packed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping typically arrives in 3–5 business days after that, depending on where you're located.

What if I want a refund?

If a bottle isn't working for you, reach out within 30 days of your purchase and we'll sort out a refund or replacement — opened or not. We'd rather make it right than have a bottle sit unused in your cabinet.

Can I subscribe and save?

Yes. Subscribing gets your bottle to you automatically before you'd run out, at a lower price than a one-time order. You can pause, delay, or cancel a subscription at any time from your account — no call required.

How should I store it?

Keep the bottle sealed, at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and away from humidity — a kitchen cabinet or pantry shelf works better than a steamy bathroom cabinet.

A note on these answers: this page is meant to inform, not to diagnose or prescribe. If you have a specific health condition, take other medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, please check with a healthcare provider before adding any new supplement to your routine.
